Taskforce Arrests Man For Selling Por-no-graphic Movies

A 32-Year-Old Man identified as Kelechi Emeri, who allegedly specialises in selling of Por-no-graphic and offensive materials in Lagos Motor Park, has been arrested at Obalende area of the state.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspect who hails from Abia State was nabbed by officials of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit at Obalende Motor Park where he was selling the offensive materials to the public.

He was said to have been arrested when a taskforce official pretended and purchased four Por-no-graphic materials from the suspect to ascertain the owner of the thriving business.

Emeri , who was thereafter arrested and brought to the task force office confessed that he, indeed ,sold Por-no-graphic DVDs to the public, saying that he usually sold 10 of such DVDs in a day.

He denied that he was the one who owned the large quantity of displayed Por-no-graphic materials at the park.

According to him, “I do sell Por-no-graphic materials, but I don’t display them for the public to see. This is not the first time the police have come here to disturb us. They have warned us that if we must sell, we should not display them. I always put them inside my bag.

“It is my neighbour who owns the ones that are on display. They are not mine. I used to sell my own N100 per copy and I used to buy them from Alaba and Idumota. I normally sell around 10 DVDs in a day. I know it is bad to sell them, I wanted to stop the business but people always ask for them.”
